About Us
Clear Water Legacy is a Water Distribution system training and consulting service, created by Sheldon Thomas, retired Manager of Water Distribution for the City of Hamilton, Ontario, Canada.
Mr. Thomas devoted more than a quarter century to operating and managing Hamilton’s aged, unique, and complex water infrastructure.
Clear Water Legacy courses are the product of Mr. Thomas’ broad experience in drinking water supply, augmented by careful subject research and continuing involvement with academics, engineers, suppliers and water system contractors.
Clear Water Legacy courses benefit from constant review and upgrade. Course material can change several times in a year as new information emerges from research and technology.
All training is Director-approved, with courses assessed by either the OETC or the OWWCO.
- Instruction focused upon optimum operation of water distribution systems.
- Primary goals are to accentuate system performance, safeguard water quality throughout the distribution system, minimize damage to water mains and appurtenances, and to extend the useful life of water mains and distribution system hard assets.
